Muta has a simple heart tattoo below his left eye and in between his feline markings; he still can’t remember the story behind it due to being black out drunk when he received it.

The Miqo’te’s feature is a blend between two races. He retains the dark features and slit pupils of a Seeker while he has the too fair eyes, sharpened canines, and a thin, long tail of a Keeper.

Due to serving the Maelstroms, he has received various scars. The most prominent ones are various patches of burn scars from being blasted by fire magic and artillery shrapnel, and messy medical and shrapnel scars around his right knee.

Muta appears to have a slight limp in his right leg due to his injuries during his deployment in the Ghymlit Dark.

He wants to enjoy his retirement from the military in peace and with as little trouble as possible. It seems to be an impossible goal currently.

Successfully run the Redrum without being dependent on the Indigo Division’s side gigs. … potentially make due on the main goal of beating the Bismarck at Limsa Lominsa’s number one restaurant.

Continue to help and support Una and Avax.

Una Relana (55 | Keeper of the Moon Miqo’te | Alive & Well). A former academic and researcher for Sharlayan, Una has settled into the life of record keeping for the Yellow Jackets and educating children that ask. Despite her disability, she’s constantly on the move around Limsa Lominsa and has built up a friendly reputation with the locals and military figures. She is known as being everyone’s mother. Muta loves her to death but is getting slowly tortured by his mother’s pestering him to settle down and start a family. As far as he’s aware, his mother doesn’t know what he’s been doing to make end’s meet for the restaurant.

Avax Duiculette (60 | Wildwood Elezen | Alive & Well). Avax grew up with Una in Sharlayan and has become a part of Muta’s family in his eyes. He appears stone cold and calculated when it comes to business, but there’s a warm, soft spot deep inside (or, an out of control desire to gamble). He continues to live with Una and supports her and her son. He had since lost interest in returning to Old Sharlayan.

Rennir Blacke (30 | Midlander Hyur | Alive & Well). Rennir is one of the acting captains of the Maelstrom Grand Company. He formerly served alongside Muta during the Eorzean Alliance’s campaign in Gyr Abania. The two don’t see eye to eye. Rennir is uptight when it comes to following regulations and acting on commands ordered above him while Muta remains lofty in his decisions as a soldier and former acting captain. The two may act like they don’t get along, but it’s common to see the two drinking in the Drowning Wench whenever Muta has business in Limsa Lominsa.

Sidionne Grevoy (28 | Wildwood Elezen | Alive & Well). The Elezen was a fresh private when she first met Muta. She was assigned to his unit and took part in regular skirmishes against Garlean forces in Gyr Abania. Despite loathing some of the Miqo’te’s behavior, the two were able to work together (along with the rest of the unit) and get through some of the bloodiest conflicts against the Empire. After Ghymlit Dark, she was promoted as acting Sergeant for the Twin Adders and regularly spends her time training new recruits. These days, their relationship is casual with Sidionne rejecting Muta’s advances while reminding him of what he’s accomplished on the battlefield.

Ersi Wajesi (30 | Dunsefolk Lalafell | Alive & Well). An unexpected ally and comrade, Ersi was Muta’s acting secondary captain while serving together in Gyr Abania. The two butted heads due to their massive egos but soon found themselves as the perfect pair when it comes to leading the unit and learning from one another. Ersi feels like he still owes Muta for saving his life while fighting together. These days, Eris busies himself as the second lieutenant of the Immortal Flames while pretending he’s not taking Muta’s advice in trying to find someone to settle down with.

Fumu Nemu (40 | Dunesfolk Lalafell | Alive & Well). An infamous gangster and loan shark in Ul’Dah, Muta knew her as far back as his chocobo racing days. Since the liberation of Ala Mhigo, she’s found herself short-staffed on “indentured servants” and got into money laundering. Muta reached out to Fumu to “borrow” money as an old friend. He wound up roped in one of the worst contracts in Ul’dah (and was technically legal!). These days, he scrambles to try and pay the monthly dues, fearing that Fumu would send her men to take his shins.

Jacke Swallow (30's | Midlander Hyur | Alive & Well). Muta grew up alongside Jacke as they did work for the Sisters. Their paths split with Muta running off towards Ul’dah while he decided to take the reins in leading the Rogue’s Guild. These days, Muta occasionally takes jobs from the guild for old time’s sake.
